腫瘍制御研究分野Division of Cancer Therapeutics
研究室概要
当分野は医学部腫瘍治療学部門（現腫瘍内科学部門）の研究の場として、2005年6月に元雄 良治教授が併任したときに発足したことを嚆矢とする。これまでに３名の外国人短期研究員を受け入れ、１名の大学院生の博士論文作成を指導してきた（2012年4月、2015年4月に各1名が入学し、現在研究中）。研究内容としては、膵癌の増殖・細胞死・浸潤・転移に及ぼすスフィンゴ脂質の影響の分子機構の解明に取り組んでいる。また、胃癌の腹膜播種の分子機構の解明と新規治療法の開発をめざす研究も展開している。
