On the 27th of June, I visited Anamizu General Hospital as a part of my Exchange programme in Kanazawa Medical University. The one-day-rotation included visiting Dr. Nakahashi's Outpatient room and joining him on Home visits in Noto Area. I enjoyed my stay in Anamizu very much. I learned about the difficulties of healthcare and economy in the Japanese countryside with an aging population. I was very impressed by the kind and respectful way of communication between the Doctors and their patients. Not only do they take care for the patient, but also for a safe and healthy environment and for the nursing relatives and their wellbeing.
